River Rising by Athol Dickson

I don't review many books here but this one is a must read! Athol Dickson's, River Rising is a simply profound story that makes us think about some of the most basic questions of life. You will never forget Hale Poser and the people of Pilotville, LA. Hopefully you will also never forget the lesson taught in River Rising to us all.

Not Alone
Not Alone is a short story about Elijah. Thanks to FaithWriters for placing it in its Advanced Winner's Circle. We all have times we feel alone. It seems like we are the only ones who care. The only ones who are fighting the good fight. Like Elijah, we need to get still and quiet long enough to hear the voice of God in our daily life. Take some time to read Not Alone and then remember, you aren't!
